Professor Philip Kotler will give a 3-hour guest lecture exclusively for the CBA classes of AVT: "Philip Kotler on Marketing."

We have arranged a special "Philip Kotler Day" for the CBA 2011-I and 2011-II (starting August and December 2010) classes right before the CBA participants embark on their Strategic Project Assignment.

We will start out with lectures on Philip Kotler's models and thinking, and then Professor Kotler will join the class via satellite/video live from Boston and teach a 3-hour afternoon lecture on current challenges in marketing.

Dr. Philip Kotler is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago.

In addition, Dr. Kotler has published more than one hundred articles in leading journals, including the Harvard Business Review, Sloan management Review, Business Horizons, California Management Review, and the Journal of Marketing.

Wall Street Journal listed Philip Kotler in 2008 as the 6th most influential person on business thinking. In 2001 he was selected as the no. 4 major management guru by the Financial Times – behind Jack Welch, Bill Gates and Peter Drucker – and he has been hailed by the Management Centre Europe as "the worlds foremost expert on the strategic practice of marketing".
